Welcome to the Who Would Win in a Fight? Final Round! For six weeks, the battles have raged on up to this moment. Before we begin this round, let's find out who won last week. Drumroll, please... Who Won Last Week? With a split 75% of the vote... Rey prevailed over Superman in an upset win, which means that she advances to the final round, facing Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi. That's right--it's Star Wars v. Star Wars in the WWWF finals. Let's take a closer look at the two competitors. Obi-Wan Kenobi It's no secret that Obi-Wan Kenobi was among the greatest Jedi to ever walk the galaxy. A Jedi Knight and defender of the Galactic Republic, Obi-Wan originally sat under the instruction of Qui-Gon Jinn. After Darth Maul killed his master, Obi-Wan masterfully sliced Darth Maul into two, soon after becoming a Jedi master himself. As a new Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan fulfilled his promise to his late master by taking the young Anakin Skywalker as his padawan. Obi-Wan demonstrated great patience and wisdom as he guided the headstrong Skywalker in the ways of the Force. Anakin's strength did not go unnoticed even by evil, and he soon fell prey to the lures of the Dark Side of the Force. After Anakin went on a murderous rampage through the Jedi Temple, Obi-Wan reluctantly but decisively incapacitated his padawan on the fiery Mustafar system. Obi-Wan was eventually struck down by Darth Vader, the heavily mechanized man formerly known as Anakin Skywalker. Despite his sudden death, his spirit lived on, continuing to guide Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force and witnessing the fall of the sinister Empire. Rey Not much is currently known about Rey's origins, but she was a strong-willed soul from the backwater desert system of Jakku. When she happened upon an orange and white BB droid, however, her simple life was turned upside down. Rey showed skill in flying the "garbage" Millennium Falcon while her new companion Finn blasted two TIE fighters on Jakku. After this encounter, she finds herself embroiled in the brutal conflict between the First Order and the Resistance, eventually being captured by the evil Kylo Ren himself. Only vaguely familiar with the Force, she resists attempts from Ren to torture her with the Force, and uses Jedi mind tricks to escape from her holding cell. In the most memorable scene in The Force Awakens, Rey uses Luke Skywalker's lightsaber to fight and defeat Kylo Ren with presumably little Force knowledge. What happens next in her journey? We'll find out in Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi; but Rey's skill with the lightsaber so far is impressive. Could she win in a fight against Obi-Wan Kenobi? That's what you get to decide this week when I ask... Who Would Win in a Fight? It's up to you to decide who will be the Who Would Win in a Fight champion. You'll have till THIS THURSDAY around 9 P.M. to cast your vote, and I'll announce the winner on social media on Friday! Make sure you tell me who you voted for in the comments or on social media using #WWWF! Choose wisely!
