It's a little late (because my brain totally failed me yesterday), but the Who Would Win in a Fight: Star Wars Edition finals are here at last! Let's see who won last week's battle--and who will be contending in the finals!

Semifinals Week #2 Results

Last week, it was Chirrut Îmwe vs. Darth Vader. Though Chirrut fought valiantly, he was no match for the Sith Lord. With 67% of the vote, Darth Vader force choked Chirrut out of the competition to advance into the finals.

That means this week, it's Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader! In case you need help deciding, here's a little info on each character.

Luke Skywalker

Literally the center of the Star Wars saga, Luke Skywalker's life and accomplishments are hardly anything to scoff at. Born on the desolate desert planet of Tatooine, Luke Skywalker was suddenly caught up in the galaxy-wide battle between the Empire and the Rebellion when R2-D2, bearing an important message, fell to his hands. Luke eventually came under the instruction of Obi-Wan Kenobi and even Yoda himself, delivering massive blows to the Empire using his newfound abilities in the Force. He blew up the first Death Star with a one-in-a-million shot and converted the infamous Sith Lord Darth Vader (who also happened to be his father) back to the Light Side of the Force. In The Last Jedi (spoilers), he even manages to project his image across the galaxy to face off against Kylo Ren. Here's one of his most famous duels (coincidentally, against Darth Vader):

Darth Vader

Arguably one of the most powerful and intimidating Sith Lords to ever live, Darth Vader has become not just a symbol of pop culture, but a symbol of the Empire's menacing appearance. Once a poor slave boy on Tatooine, Darth Vader, aka Anakin Skywalker, came under the tutelage of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. His great power soon became evident, and when the Jedi Council rebuffed him, Sheev Palpatine took the young man under his wing. Under Palpatine, Vader's strength in the Dark Side of the Force grew to stunning proportions. Of course, his fervor for Imperial causes is eventually overcome by love for his son, but Vader's skill whilst a Sith is undeniable. Take a look at one of his most famous fight scenes:

All right, guys, now you have to answer the question: who would win in a fight? Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker? Vote for your favorite below if you want to see them crowned WWWF: Star Wars Champion! You have until Friday the 29th at 11:59 P.M. to cast your vote! (The poll may take a few moments to load.)
