July has been a pretty busy month! Last week, I covered all the important stuff from Disney's D23 conference, from Star Wars to The Incredibles. This week, I'll be showing you all the most important and exciting trailers from Comic-Con 2017. Let's get started:

Thor: Ragnarok

Marvel's panel at Comic-Con was apparently pretty good--with some exciting new Black Panther footage and all--but of course, us non-attendees of Comic-Con won't be able to see it. At any rate, we did get a few new trailers from Marvel, including for the upcoming film Thor: Ragnarok. Take a look:
There's definitely a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe to the film, and despite the serious plot, it manages to remain upbeat. We see Loki seems to be fighting alongside Thor (again), but of course his mischief is never done. More scenes of Hela's (Cate Blanchett) devastating power are revealed, but I can't neglect to mention that awesome end clip where Thor's eyes are glowing blue as he summons thunder from the sky. You can catch Thor: Ragnarok in theaters on November 3, 2017.

Justice League

Easily one of the most anticipated films of the year, Justice League got an epic new trailer at Comic-Con. Take a look:
Lots of butt-kicking action here, especially from Wonder Woman (gosh, did you see her dodge that bullet?). The most remarkable portion of the trailer is, of course, the Jurassic Park-style entrance of a mysterious figure at the end of the trailer. Presumably, this character is Superman (Henry Cavill), who appeared to die in Batman v. Superman. Of course, if you didn't leave the theater early in utter grief and you watched all the way to the end, it was clear that he probably wasn't dead (that and the fact that Cavill signed on for two more films). Justice League is in theaters November 17.

Star Trek: Discovery

Star Trek can sometimes get buried in a Star Wars world, but CBS is seeking to bring the series back into primetime with their new series Star Trek: Discovery, set before the original series. And it got an amazing trailer to accompany it. Language warning: there is a mild profanity uttered at 1:23 if you want to mute. Take a look:
This series chronicles a cold war between the Federation and the Klingons, and as such is much more action packed than the original series. I have to mention that the special effects look spectacular. Overall, this trailer succeeded in grabbing my attention for the series. Star Trek: Discovery premieres on CBS on September 24, but to watch subsequent episodes, you'll need CBS All Access.

Pacific Rim: Uprising

The sequel to the 2013 sci-fi disaster movie, Pacific Rim: Uprising will bring a new generation of giant mechs (known as Jaegers in the films) and, with them, new pilots. Take a look at the teaser:
One new pilot you might have recognized is Jake Pentecost, portrayed by Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor John Boyega. His presence in the trailer is brief, and the trailer itself doesn't clue us in to any major plot points in the movie. However, those new Jaegers look pretty beast. Pacific Rim: Uprising is set to release on February 23, 2018.

Comment below: Which trailer was your favorite? Was there a trailer I should have included that I didn't? Let me hear you!
